Link here, link there, anywhere....

I'm so much amused, impressed, and if there's another word to describe the feelings I feel, I would use it for what the internet could do. What a technology! I've learned a lot of websites that never came into my knowledge even though I've been using the internet for years. And must have to admit, I can count on my fingers the sites I've been visiting. I've limited myself to explore other ways to connect to the world to think that it is already in my hand. Only, I did not maximized its use. But its not yet too late, I'm beginning to surge! Get ready!

I've started it two days ago. I've created my own blog. Then linked it to other sites. I guess, this is a good start. Do you agree with me?

Payments on LIne

Based on the discussion the other day, the best payment system that works for my office is the bank payment system. It is safer because payments is directed in the bank so you have control over the money. Meaning, payments are directly deposited in the seller's account. We can minimize fraud. And the fee is affordable. The bank is an institution that have created credibility over the years. So if its money matters, go for the one you can trust.

The disadvantage I see in here is, its the bank's working hours. So transactions are only accepted within the banking hours.

E in the Census

My brother needs his authenticated birth certificate for his new job. I introduced him to the e-census and advised him to just apply there for his birth certificate. I want him to have the convenience of not going to NSO very early. Of not having to fall in line and wait there for hours. But he said, "mahal", its expensive. So he went to NSO very early yesterday to find out that at 7 AM he is already on the 419th slot. Imagine that? And worst, to find out later that he doesn't have the live birth certificate submitted in the NSO by our local registrar! And still he have to pay for it even if he didn't get the copy.

If he had only done his application in the e-census he could have been spared from the tedious wait yesterday. The good thing is he has saved at least a half of the fee in e-census application. At least.

Going through this scenario, have you imagined e-census convenience? If you're on the go, e-census is the answer in terms of acquiring your authenticated birth certificate.

You can also apply for a copy of marriage certificate and certificate of singleness. And you can even pay it online. No hassles! Just a fee of P300.00 and your request is delivered to you in 3 days.

Dream

Did anyone know that I want also to be able to write? Write a story, a poem maybe, or just an essay? I don't want it to be like this, a dream only.

The problem is, I cannot organize my thoughts the moment I hold the pen or set my fingers on the keyboard. There are lots of thoughts I want to write to but I don't know how to start.

Just a reflection for today.

EON Online

Its really fascinating what technology can do today. Its the IN thing. You can even apply for an account over the internet. This is what Unionbank E-On account does. The website is user-friendly. With all the information you needed about their services. Creating an account is just a click-away and then you can claim the card in a week. Of course, you have to present the requirements when doing so.

What a day!

I ended up working on my blog last night with all things working. Now, when I opened it, cannot go to my links. What could be the problem?

I've edited my codes. And same error appear. Whew! What a day!

OnLine Resource for OPM Songs

Try to visit pinoytitik.com. Its objective is to promote Pilipino music.

The objective is good. Its a way of supporting our local artist and to patronize our own kind of music.

What I don't want in the website is that the interface is too crowded. There are a lot of information, links all crowded in the main page.

The link to the e-shop is not also visible. It must caught the attention of the users.

A Little of Critique

I am very amused of the of this site name... PinoyDelikasi. My initial thought is, it sells Pilipino foods. I am very excited to know that there is this website that sells food products in the internet. It caught my attention because I am fond of food

But to my dismay, as this is my first time to surf into this site, it tells me,

"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later. HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error Date: Thu, 25 May 2006 02:59:51 GMT Server: Apache".

Ohh, I wasn't able to see the products being promoted here. Maybe the site owner will do something about this. Every second counts, a little lost means a big something!

I promise I'll go back to this site again.

Reflections on the Training

it@coops Train the Trainers Training is a groundbreaking achievement for the co-operative society.
It is one of its kind. It aims to train us to become trainers so that we will be able to re-echo what we have learned in this 100-day training. Aside from these, we will be assisting the co-op to establish a Business Development Center and be able to establish a virtual network with other co-operatives.

Knowing these responsibilities that are inherent in this training would seem to be a very heavy tasks. There's so much expectations from us. I asked myself, will I be able to make these objectives fulfilled?

Then here's now the training. Our training started last October 2005. It was so exciting to see the other participants in this training. some are so shy, some showed their being friendly and others have their own groups already. These participants are choosen to represent their co-ops from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. We are all 20 trainers. Now, we are on the last track. We will be having our graduation on the 31st of May 2006.

I didn't know how I was able to go through with the training. It started from the MS Office Application like MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and MS Outlook. Its all about application, so its still easy I said to myself because these are the applications I often used in my office work.

Then came second track, wherein we were taught how to make html codes, use the cascading style sheet or CSS and then to javascripting. I must admit that I faced a hard time in here because I am really not a programmer. Especially the CSS, but thank God, I made it through and its a self-fulfillment I felt when I was able to create my personal website.

Third track was all about Photoshop, InDesign, and Flash Animation. It was also a test of our creativity. The last we tackled was doing a program using Visual Basic for Applications.

Ahh, we are about the end the training, but it still a long way to go to accomplish all the objectives and%
